We accept both digital images and physical samples.

Photos taken from a distance are very helpful and improve diagnostic accuracy. You may submit images without a physical sample; however, in most cases, a physical sample is needed to confirm the diagnosis with 100% confidence.

Image Guidelines

• Take photos from standing height to show overall damage patterns
• Close-up images are usually not helpful unless clearly showing a lesion, fruiting body, or other distinct structure
